The Awana Genting Cable Car, also known as the Awana Skyway, provides transport up to the Genting Highlands in Malaysia. Passengers board at the Awana station and travel to the peak, offering views of the surrounding mountains and tropical landscape during the transit.
Transit Experience
During the journey, the cable car climbs toward the mountain summit. The transit provides a connection between the lower station and the destination at the top of the highland area. Passengers remain in the cabin throughout the duration of the trip, observing the changing altitude and terrain from the glass windows. The system operates on a regular schedule to move visitors to and from the mountain resort area throughout the day.
Operational Details
The system consists of the Awana Skyway and the Genting SkyWay. The Awana Skyway operates daily from 07:00 to 23:00. The Genting SkyWay operates daily from 09:00 to 19:00. Visitors should plan their arrival within these operational windows to ensure service availability.
