About this experience
Dubai Safari Park is a 119-hectare wildlife reserve in Al Warqa 5, housing approximately 3,000 animals representing 78 mammal species, 50 reptile varieties, and 111 bird species.
The sanctuary is organized into five distinct geographical villages: African Village, Asian Village, Explorer Village (where open-air safari buses take visitors through habitats of cheetahs, lions, rhinos, and giraffes), Arabian Desert Safari, and the Kids Farm.
Designed with animal welfare and immersive education at its core, the park replaces the old Dubai Zoo with expansive climate-controlled naturalistic habitats, misting walkways, and solar-powered operations.

Know before you go
- Located in Al Warqa 5 off Ras Al Khor Road, best reached by taxi or private car.

- Wear light clothing, sun hats, and walking shoes; the park covers extensive ground.
- Check show times upon arrival for the Birds of Prey and Amazing Creatures presentations.
