About this experience
The Museum of the Future is the silver torus on Sheikh Zayed Road, its facade covered in Arabic calligraphy that doubles as the building's windows. Inside, the museum is staged as a journey to the year 2071 rather than a conventional gallery.
Floors cover an orbiting space station, a restored and rewilded Amazon, a wellbeing sanctuary built around the senses, and a near-future technology floor. A lower level, Future Heroes, is an open play space for children. Sessions are timed and the museum regularly sells out, so booking ahead matters more here than at most Dubai attractions. Allow 90 minutes to two hours.

Good to know
Things to know
- The museum closed to visitors at the beginning of September 2026 and is set to reopen in the first quarter of 2027.
- The closure is temporary. The exhibitions are being rebuilt with an entirely new narrative and visitor journey.
- The previous exhibitions will not return in their old form, so any earlier ticket description no longer applies.
- Tickets for the renewed museum will be released closer to the reopening.
- The building itself is unchanged: a 77 metre tall stainless steel ring engraved with Arabic calligraphy, designed by Killa Design and engineered by Buro Happold.
- The Auditorium remains bookable for events during the closure. Level 7 is not available.
Know before you go
- The museum is closed to visitors until the first quarter of 2027. Do not plan a visit before then.
- The exterior is on Sheikh Zayed Road in Financial Centre and is still worth a photo stop during the closure.
- Check museumofthefuture.ae for the reopening date and for when tickets go on sale.
