Pura Tirta Gangga
Entry TicketThe water park Tirta Gangga Bali was created by the King of Karangasem in 1946 and is an inheritance from that country. Holy water from the Ganges river in India is what the name Taman Tirta Gangga refers to.
Additionally, the creation of this park is meant to pay homage to those who practice Hinduism. However, the Tirta Gangga park area had undergone a significant refurbishment as a result of Mount Agung’s eruption in the early 1960s.
A garden, a swimming pool, and a monument are Tirta Gangga Bali’s major attractions. This park stretches from east to west and covers an area of roughly 1.2 hectares. There are additional three-story structures in Tirta Gangga.
Under a banyan tree, the first or tallest structure has a spring. A swimming pool can be found in the second building, and a fountain and a swimming pool can be found in the third building’s basement.
A row of sculptures will welcome you as you pass through Tirta Gangga Park’s entrance gate. Additionally, the pool is beautifully surrounded by a stone walkway that allows you to snap photographs in the center of the water.
In addition, a water tower with a height of 10 meters may be seen in Tirta Gangga Karangasem, Bali. The water in this park is still utilized for customary celebrations and is revered by the locals.
The natural surroundings are still chilly since Tirta Gangga Bali is situated at the base of Mount Agung.
