Dubai Honeymoon Package Price for a Couple from India

A 5-night Dubai honeymoon for two from India costs about Rs 1.6 to 1.9 lakh on a simple plan, Rs 2.35 to 3 lakh on a comfortable one and Rs 3.65 to 5.1 lakh with a Palm Jumeirah suite, as of September 2026. That covers flights, visa, hotel, transfers, the big sights and food for both of you. These are low-season prices, so if you travel between November and February, expect flights and hotels to cost more and treat these figures as the floor. Package listings often quote a per-person "starting from" price built on the cheapest room, which is a different number.

Dubai quotes most prices in dirhams (AED), so I've converted at roughly Rs 26 to the dirham, the mid-market rate in the third week of September 2026. The rate moves week to week, so treat every AED-to-rupee figure here as approximate and re-check it before you pay.

What five nights costs, in three budgets

This is the full five-night, six-day bill, not the flight-only number an ad shows you. Smart-spend keeps you in a solid 4-star near JBR or Business Bay with shared transfers. Comfortable puts you in a 5-star in Downtown or on Dubai Marina with private transfers. Splurge is a suite or pool villa on Palm Jumeirah with private transfers and the better version of everything else.

Flights, visa, Tourism Dirham and Burj Khalifa lines come from published prices. Hotel, transfer and food lines are my ballpark estimates, so ask for live quotes before you commit. The jump in the transfers row is mostly the safari and dinner level, not just the transfer type.

Flights for two

September has historically been the cheapest month to fly Delhi to Dubai, and fares climb toward Christmas and New Year. A round-trip economy ticket for one person has typically run between about Rs 29,500 and Rs 40,000, with September the cheapest at around Rs 31,000, so budget Rs 55,000 to Rs 90,000 for two depending on how far out you book and how fixed your dates are. Fares from Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kochi or Kolkata will differ from the Delhi figures here, so price your own home city and dates before you trust these numbers. Filter for return, non-stop and your actual travel week. The fare a search engine shows for a random weekday is not what you'll pay across a long weekend or a wedding-season date.

Visa for two

Most Indian passport holders need a UAE tourist visa arranged before they fly. Visa on arrival applies only to Indians holding certain US, UK, EU, Australian, Canadian, Japanese, New Zealand, South Korean or Singapore visas or residence permits, so check that rule before assuming it covers you. A standard 30-day single-entry visa is listed at about Rs 6,700 through VFS and about Rs 7,850 through agents as of September 2026, so plan on Rs 13,400 to Rs 15,700 for both of you. The table uses the higher agent price. Standard processing takes about 3 to 5 working days. Apply at least a week before you fly, and make sure your passport has six months' validity left.

Hotel, by area

September sits in Dubai's low season, so hotels cost less than they will from November. The trade-off is heat, which makes afternoons outdoors hard going. Rates are also lower this year partly because tourism dipped after the regional conflict: Khaleej Times reported that Dubai hotel occupancy fell about 30 percent in the first half of 2026, and average daily rates dropped 7 percent. Check current government travel advisories and your airline's status before you book, and pick flexible or refundable bookings where you can.

A solid 4-star in JBR, Business Bay or near Al Barsha runs roughly Rs 9,000 to Rs 12,000 a night. A 5-star in Downtown, ideally with a Burj Khalifa or fountain view, or on Dubai Marina runs Rs 18,000 to Rs 25,000. A premium suite or pool villa on Palm Jumeirah starts around Rs 35,000 and climbs past Rs 55,000 depending on the property and the view. I'd put honeymoon money into the room before almost anything else on this list. It's the one line you use every single day.

The Tourism Dirham hotel fee

Dubai's Tourism Dirham is charged per room per night and scales with the hotel's star rating: AED 10 at a 3-star, AED 15 at a 4-star and AED 20 at a 5-star, capped at 30 nights. In May 2026 Dubai approved an exemption from collecting it as part of a hotel relief package, and the start dates are left to each government entity. So ask the hotel or your agent in writing whether it's being charged for your dates. If it is, expect roughly Rs 1,950 at a 4-star or Rs 2,600 at a 5-star for five nights. It's small money. It's usually added to the hotel bill as a separate line and paid at checkout, not pre-added to online booking prices.

Shared transfers vs private

A shared (SIC) airport transfer or shared desert safari is the easiest place for a package to look cheap on paper. You're in a van with other guests, which drops the price but adds pickup stops at both ends of a long travel day. A private transfer for two usually costs a few thousand rupees more, and buys you a direct run to the hotel and a safari vehicle that leaves and returns on your own schedule. For a five-night honeymoon, I'd pay for private on the airport run and on the one evening activity you care about most, and let everything else stay shared. Private rates aren't worth paying for a mid-afternoon mall transfer.

Tell the hotel it's a honeymoon when you book. Some add a cake or a room upgrade, but none of it is guaranteed, so get anything promised in writing.

What Dubai package listings leave out

A "from Rs X per person" price on a listing page is built on the cheapest room, the lowest occupancy and usually no activities. Book it and the final quote tends to land between the smart-spend and comfortable tiers above once the hotel category, transfers and even one paid sight are added back in. Before you compare two quotes for what looks like the same five nights, ask each agent to break out three things: whether the Tourism Dirham is being charged, whether transfers are shared or private, and exactly which Burj Khalifa ticket, if any, is bundled in. Together they can move a quote by tens of thousands of rupees. The Sky ticket alone adds roughly Rs 10,000 to Rs 16,000 for two over a standard one.

Burj Khalifa: At the Top or At the Top Sky

At the Top, the deck on levels 124 and 125, starts from about AED 170 per adult at quieter hours and costs about AED 250 in the late-afternoon prime slots, so budget roughly Rs 9,000 to Rs 13,000 for the two of you. At the Top Sky, the deck on level 148, starts at about AED 369 and climbs to roughly AED 550 in busy slots, closer to Rs 19,000 to Rs 29,000 for two. Sky adds level 148, about 100 metres higher, with fewer people and priority elevator access. The view from 124 is still the same city and the same sunset. I'd only pay for Sky if you're going around sunset and want the quieter deck for photos. Otherwise a standard ticket at a quieter hour gets you nearly the same view for Rs 10,000 to Rs 16,000 less.

Skip the Burj Al Arab dinner for now

If your Dubai honeymoon plan included a splurge dinner at the Burj Al Arab, you'll need a new plan. Jumeirah announced on 15 April 2026 that the hotel would close for an 18-month restoration, and reports describe it as temporarily closed since, restaurants included. Eighteen months points to a reopening around late 2027, with no exact date confirmed, so check with Jumeirah before you plan anything there. That's a loss. It was the easy way to book one big evening out. Swap it for a private dhow cruise dinner on Dubai Marina or a table at a high-floor restaurant in Downtown facing the fountains. Either gives you a skyline moment without that address.

Who should pick Dubai for a honeymoon

Dubai suits couples who want a bit of everything: skyline views, beach time, good restaurants and shopping, all in about five nights. The flight is short, the visa process is simple next to many long-haul trips, and English is widely spoken. Bali or Mauritius mean a longer flight and a bigger time shift. Dubai is less good if you want overwater villas, total quiet and nobody else in sight. It's a city first and a beach destination second, and even on Palm Jumeirah you should check the room view before you pay for it. Booking timing: when to lock it in

If your dates are flexible, travelling before November is the easiest way to cut this bill, because flights and hotels both climb once winter pricing starts, roughly November through February. The price you pay for the lower fares is the heat. If your wedding date puts you in the winter window, treat the tiers above as the floor and get live quotes early.

Price your own trip against the comfortable tier first. It's the tier built around a 5-star room rather than the cheapest room on the listing page.
