The National Aquarium Abu Dhabi is the largest public aquarium in the Middle East, spanning across the Al Qana waterfront destination. Home to more than 46,000 marine and aquatic animals representing 330 distinct species, the facility provides an unforgettable window into underwater ecosystems ranging from the Arabian Gulf to the remote polar ice caps.
10 Themed Zones from the Arabian Gulf to the Amazon
Visitors journey through 10 curated zones designed to educate and inspire. Explore UAE Natural Treasures to learn about traditional Arabian pearl diving and local marine habitats. Walk through the Red Sea Wreck, marvel at the Amazon flooded forest, and traverse the Atlantic Cave. The highlight is the Middle East's longest underwater glass tunnel, surrounding you with giant sand tiger sharks, bull sharks, and gliding eagle rays.
World-Class Conservation and Wildlife Rescue
In partnership with the Environment Agency Abu Dhabi (EAD), The National Aquarium operates the Wildlife Rescue Program, a dedicated hospital and rehabilitation center for injured native marine life. Here, rescued sea turtles and rare marine species receive critical veterinary care before being reintroduced into their natural Persian Gulf habitats. The aquarium also houses 'Super Snake', a 7-meter reticulated python, alongside puffins, chameleons, and vibrant coral ecosystems.

- Ample free surface and underground parking is available across the Al Qana complex.
- Photography without flash is permitted throughout the aquarium to protect sensitive marine animals.
