Schedules change by season, so check the airline site or ask your agent whether a direct flight is actually running the week you want to travel. If you have to connect through Delhi, Dubai or Sharjah, expect a higher fare and a few extra hours of travel each way. Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata travellers usually connect through Delhi or a Gulf hub too, so budget more on the flight line and a longer travel day if you're flying from those cities.

Either way, it's a long day on the road for a short trip, so only add it if you actually have the fourth night, don't try to squeeze it into a 3N4D schedule.

Should you extend beyond Baku

If three or four nights leaves you wanting more of the country rather than just one more mountain day, that's a different trip, not a bigger version of this one.
