Bali Package from Delhi with Flights: Rs 1.6 to 2.7 Lakh for Two

A 6-night Bali package from Delhi with flights costs a couple roughly Rs 1.6 lakh to Rs 2.7 lakh all-in, as of September 2026. The low end is a Saturday fixed departure listed at Rs 1,52,640 for two with flights included. The high end is a custom villa week with the Air India nonstop. Where you land between those two numbers comes down to three choices: nonstop or one stop, hotel or private pool villa, and fixed dates or your own.

Most listings show a "from" price per person and leave you to find out what's missing. So here is every line, in rupees, for two trip shapes. For anything charged in rupiah I've used 1 INR = 185.9 IDR, the Wise mid-market rate on 23 September 2026. Every price here is approximate and moves daily.

What a Bali package from Delhi with flights costs, line by line

The visa and the levy are small and fixed, and they're rarely inside a package price, so keep about Rs 7,000 aside for the two of you whatever you book. TCS looks like a cost at checkout, but it isn't one: it's tax collected against your PAN, which you adjust or get refunded when you file your return. And the gap between the two columns is almost entirely flights and villas, not tours.

One catch on TCS. The fixed departure page says taxes and charges are included and never mentions TCS, so I've treated it as extra on top. Ask whoever quotes you whether it's already inside the price. In the custom column I've charged TCS only on the land part, because I've priced the Air India ticket as something you buy yourself from the airline, and a plane ticket on its own isn't a tour package. If an operator bundles the flights into one quote, TCS is about Rs 5,149 and your total is about Rs 2,69,604.

Lunches, dinners, tips, a local SIM and shopping sit on top of both columns. Those depend on how you eat and spend, not on how you book, so I've kept them out of this comparison. Your card's forex markup on the visa and levy payments is extra too.

Flights from Delhi: nonstop or one stop

Right now there's one true nonstop between Delhi and Denpasar: Air India, with about 10 flights a week but not every day. The fastest scheduled flight takes about 7 hours 45 minutes. The cheapest nonstop return I found on 23 September was Rs 48,475 per person, on a flight listed at around 9 hours, for 30 October to 8 November. That is a nine-night window, so a six-night trip can price higher or lower.

IndiGo flies Delhi to Denpasar today with a stop in Bhubaneswar. Schedule filings show an A321XLR nonstop replacing that from 25 October 2026, though Google Flights still lists the current stop-over flight as an IndiGo "nonstop", so confirm on the IndiGo website before you plan around it. A second nonstop could soften fares, so I wouldn't lock November flights until IndiGo confirms the nonstop is running.

My take: for early-November dates the nonstop costs about Rs 2,000 more per person than the cheapest one-stop (Thai AirAsia, a low-cost airline where bags and meals are usually extra), and it saves you a connection and about three hours. At that gap I'd take the nonstop every time. One-stop routes earn their place only when that gap widens. Singapore Airlines and THAI cost more, but they're full-service airlines, so meals and checked bags normally come with the fare, and that matters more on a 12-hour trip than on a nonstop.

Season moves the fare more than the airline does. Over the last 12 months, the typical cheapest one-week return from Delhi was Rs 23,500 to Rs 32,500 in January, the cheapest month, and Rs 45,500 to Rs 71,000 in August, the priciest. What the land part of a package should cover

Two Bali quotes are only comparable if you know what's inside them. The minimum I'd expect from any package out of Delhi:

• Hotels with breakfast, with the room type named, not "deluxe or similar"
• Private airport transfers both ways
• A private car and driver on every tour day, with the hours written down
• Entry tickets for everything on the plan, including the Kintamani zone fee if Mount Batur views are on it
• The Nusa Penida boat and island transport, if Penida is included

The exclusions are just as predictable. Meals beyond breakfast, driver overtime and personal spends are excluded in both trips I priced below. The villa trip also leaves out a professional guide, parking and entry to places of worship. None of that is a trick, but it's where a cheap quote can quietly get expensive.

On food, vegetarians manage well if they say so early. The Legian hotel in the fixed departure lists Indian vegetarian food, and breakfast is included at every stay in both trips. For tour-day lunches, tell the operator when you book so the driver plans stops that can cook veg.

The add-ons that "from" prices leave out

Visa on arrival. Indonesia's B1 visa on arrival costs IDR 500,000 per person, about Rs 2,690, for 30 days, and it can be extended once to a total of 60 days. You can apply online as an e-VoA at evisa.imigrasi.go.id with a passport valid for at least six months, a recent colour photo and your return ticket. Indonesian immigration says the e-VoA is sent within 24 hours. You can also pay at the counter on arrival.

Bali levy. Separate from the visa, every international tourist entering Bali pays IDR 150,000, about Rs 807. Pay it on the official Love Bali site and you'll get a QR voucher by email.

TCS. From 1 April 2026, TCS on an overseas tour package is a flat 2% of the package amount, with no threshold. Before that it was 5%, and 20% above Rs 10 lakh. On a Rs 1.5 lakh package that's about Rs 3,050, collected when you pay. It applies to the package an operator sells you, not to a flight ticket you buy on its own from the airline. It's credited against your PAN and you claim it in your income tax return, so plan for it as a short-term cash hit, not a fee.

Option 1: the Saturday fixed departure

This is a set 7-day, 6-night trip that leaves Delhi every Saturday. The date I priced, 3 October 2026, is listed at Rs 1,52,640 for two, taxes and charges included, which works out to Rs 76,320 each.

The flights are VietJet via Ho Chi Minh City. You leave Delhi at 12.05 am on Saturday, which means being at the airport on Friday evening, change planes in Ho Chi Minh City, and land in Bali at 1.35 pm local time. Coming home, you leave Bali at 2 pm on Friday and land in Delhi at 10.55 pm. Bali runs 2.5 hours ahead of India, and each connection is roughly two to two and a half hours.

You get four nights at Bliss Surfer Hotel in Legian in a 27 square metre deluxe room, then two nights in a one-bedroom pool villa at Alam Puisi Villa in Ubud, with breakfast at both and a floating breakfast on the last full day. Day 2 is watersports at Tanjung Benoa (banana boat, parasailing, jet ski) and Uluwatu temple with the Kecak dance. Day 3 is the Nusa Penida west tour: Kelingking, Broken Beach, Angel Billabong and Crystal Bay, with a local lunch and snorkelling gear.

Day 5 covers Kintamani, a coffee plantation, Tegenungan waterfall, the jungle swing and the Ubud art market on the way to your villa. Days 4 and 6 are free, and transfers are private throughout.

Here's the arithmetic that sells it. The Air India nonstop alone was Rs 48,475 per person for a nine-night early-November window, so treat this as a rough guide. Take that away from Rs 76,320 and you'd have under Rs 28,000 each for six nights, three tour days and every transfer. I'd be surprised if you could build that yourself at retail prices.

Who should skip it: anyone who needs a nonstop, anyone whose leave doesn't start on a Friday night, and couples who want a private pool for the whole week rather than two nights of it. Before paying, ask how many kilos of checked bag the tickets include.

The title on the card below says Oct 2027, but the departure I priced is 3 October 2026, so confirm which dates are open when you enquire.

Option 2: a custom 6-night villa trip

Now the other end. A published 6-night villa itinerary for two was listed at Rs 1,60,511 when I priced it, land only. That's three nights in a one-bedroom villa with private pool and jacuzzi at Ini Vie Villa in Seminyak, then three nights in a private-pool villa at E Sanctuary Resort in Ubud, both with breakfast. It includes airport transfers, a private car on tour days, a North Bali day (Handara Gate, Ulun Danu Beratan, Tanah Lot), the same Nusa Penida west tour, and a central Bali day with an ATV ride and a swing.

Add the Air India nonstop (Rs 96,950 for two, using that nine-night early-November fare as a stand-in), the visas and the levy, and you're at about Rs 2,64,455, or roughly Rs 1.32 lakh each before TCS. Because it's custom, you choose the dates, the flight and the hotels. Swapping one villa stay for a good hotel pulls the total down quickly. Swapping the nonstop for a one-stop saves very little right now.

Who it suits: couples for whom the villa is the holiday, and anyone who wants to fly nonstop on their own dates. Who should skip it: first-timers on a firm budget who'll be out touring most days, because you'd be paying villa prices for rooms you mostly sleep in.

Fixed departure or custom: how I'd choose

I'd book the fixed departure if the dates work, one connection doesn't bother you, and it's your first time in Bali. It covers the things most first-timers end up doing anyway, and the price is hard to beat. I'd go custom if you need a nonstop, if school holidays or leave dates decide your week, or if a private pool villa is the reason you're going.

There's a sensible middle too: the fixed departure's shape of one beach base, one Ubud base and three or four tour days, rebuilt on the Air India nonstop for your own dates. That lands between the two examples above, and it's the version I'd suggest to most couples who can't make a Saturday work.

Before you pay: a short checklist

• Get flight numbers, times and checked bag allowance in writing.
• Check that every hotel has a named room type and breakfast.
• Confirm the car hours per tour day and the overtime rate.
• Ask whether TCS is already inside the quoted price, and make sure the invoice shows it as its own line.
• Apply for the e-VoA and pay the levy online the week you book.
